Östers IF lost 4-1 to Helsingborg in Allsvenskan. It was a tough start to the season for Östers IF. Helsingborg's new midfielder Demba N'Diaye scored 1-0 in the third minute. Oscar Uddenäs equalized shortly thereafter, but Evin Gigovic gave Helsingborg the lead again with a powerful long shot. In the second half, right-back Clancy Biten, also signed before the season, scored 3-1 and with just minutes left in the match, Alexander Johansson sealed the final result (4-1). Östers IF's new coach Max Mölder was not satisfied with the result. – We tried to go for it when we were down. Instead, they scored another goal, it's frustrating. I think they're better than us today, but not 4-1 better, says Daniel Ask. Östers IF now has a tough task to come back in Allsvenskan.
