Östers IF head coach Max Mölder has done his job in the club. According to Fotbollskanalen, Mölder has been head coach of Östers IF since the beginning of the year and has now decided to leave the club. This after Östers IF lost to Ljungskile in superettan. Mölder has criticized his own players after the loss and has now decided to leave the club. There are talks between Mölder and the management of Öster regarding the dismissal. However, the decision on the dismissal is to be finalized. Academic director Christian Järdler and assistant coach Daniel Friberg have been asked to lead Öster in the near future, before a permanent replacement is appointed. The former has reportedly declined the offer. Instead, Friberg and P19 coach Johan Karlsson are to lead Öster in the near future.
