IFK Mariehamn Announces Early Termination of Contract with Nikolaos Dosis
IFK Mariehamn has officially announced that they have agreed to terminate the contract with defender Nikolaos Dosis early. The 25-year-old player, who signed a deal until 2027 in January, is now free to seek new opportunities on the transfer market.
Dosis, previously of Östersunds FK, made his debut for IFK Mariehamn and has since played in 22 competitive matches for the club. However, it seems that the agreement between the player and the club is no longer viable as IFK Mariehamn now states they have come to an early termination deal.
The club expressed their gratitude towards Dosis: "IFK Mariehamn thanks Nikolaos for his efforts in wearing the IFK jersey and wishes him all the best for the future!"
Since leaving ÖFK, Dosis has played for Olympiakos Nicosia, NK Tabor Sežana, Volos FC, and PAS Giannina. IFK Mariehamn is currently jumbo (promoted) in the Finnish top division after 17 rounds.
